AENA has put the improvement works of the four VIP lounges at the Barcelona-El Prat Airport out to tender, a project drawn up by fbarquitectura in collaboration with the engineering firm, Incosa. There are three in T1 and another in T2, for an amount of €9.8 million.

The surface areas of the three lounges in Terminal T1 will be enlarged during the improvements; the Colomer Lounge will feature an area of 831 square metres, almost double the current 440; the Pau Casals Lounge will feature 2,473 square metres; and the Miró Lounge will feature 2,360 square metres. For its part, at the T2 terminal, the Canudas Lounge will grow from its current 497 square metres to 785 square metres.[/vc_column_text]
