AENA will invest €1,571 million in Barajas airport until 2026, with the main objective of increasing its capacity to 80 million passengers, 10 more than at present.
The following remodeling actions stand out: the extension of the departure hall and the modernization of the luggage collection rooms in T1; new equipment in the check-in and boarding areas — a project developed by fbarquitectura in collaboration with Incosa — the extension of security filters in T1 and T2, and the modernization of finishes and qualities in the three terminals’ boarding areas. In the largest and most modern terminal, T4, check-in and security areas will be expanded.[/vc_column_text]
