MÓSTOLES NEW JUDICIAL BUILDING
The Community of Madrid has begun the project for a new judicial building that will regroup the 24 courts of Móstoles.
The efebearquitectura studio has won the competition for the drafting of the execution project for the new judicial complex that has four offices that house a total of 24 courts: eight of first instance (two of them for family and child protection); six for instruction; six of the criminal; three of the social; one on violence against women and a police court.
In addition, these courts will have reserve space for another 8 future courts. The building will also have a room for macro-causes, two for popular jury trials, a multipurpose and conference space, a wedding room, a childcare service and two Gesell cameras, equipment that will allow greater protection for victims, especially minors, since they testify in a friendly environment.
“We want to humanize judicial offices and adapt them to new technologies, so that victims feel the best possible welcome from their first contact with the Administration of Justice; we want to ensure their protection and, above all, avoid their revictimization”, said Enrique López, Minister of Justice, Interior and Victims of the regional government.
The future complex will be located on a plot of land at 44 New York Street in this town, will have an area of 35,000 square meters and an investment of 32 million euros is planned for its construction.
