In November 2023, our architecture studio completed the new Ahorramas supermarket in Carabanchel, Madrid, located at 47 Joaquín Turina Street. Situated on the ground floor of an eight-story building with residential use and parking levels down to floor -3, the space was previously used as a nursery school and has been completely renovated to create a functional environment designed to serve the area’s 24,000 residents. The store features a mezzanine on the first floor, maximizing the available area and offering a more comfortable and efficient shopping experience.

The main entrance is located at 47 Joaquín Turina Street, providing convenient access for both residents and visitors. Additionally, a secondary entrance is available from within the residential complex itself, enhancing accessibility.

This new Ahorramas location in Carabanchel includes a 239 m² sales area and a total surface of 556.3 m². The opening has created 16 jobs, with staff committed to exceeding customer expectations at every interaction. Every detail—from product layout to lighting and signage—has been carefully considered to ensure the highest standards of quality and functionality.
