Ahorramas in Leganés, Madrid: FBarquitectura completes the delivery of a new Ahorramas supermarket in Leganés. Ahorramas, a leading food distribution company in Spain, is expanding its presence in the Community of Madrid with a new supermarket in Leganés. With 594 m² of sales area, it offers a comprehensive shopping service to the 180,000 residents of the area. We are proud to be part of Ahorramas’s expansion and to contribute to its commercial growth in Leganés, Madrid.

The single-storey premises are located on the ground floor of a commercial building. It has a total built area of 1,043.76 m² and a usable area of 947.09 m² in its refurbished state. The building’s reinforced concrete structure ensures the stability and fire resistance required by Basic Document SI 6 (Structural Fire Resistance) of the Spanish Technical Building Code.

The new supermarket incorporates sustainable practices such as eco-friendly areas and recycling points at the entrance, aimed at promoting environmental awareness. It is also equipped with digital screens that display information on offers, promotions, and recipes, thus enhancing the customer’s shopping experience. This recent project, delivered by FBarquitectura in October 2022, exemplifies Ahorramas’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.
