Ahorramas continues its expansion with a new store in Talavera de la Reina. FBarquitectura completed the project in June 2023. Located at 26 Calle Alfares, it replaces the former store at number 8 on the same street. This change not only renewed the infrastructure but also generated employment for 42 people in the area.

The new supermarket, with a total built area of 3,737 m² and a 1,233 m² sales floor, offers residents of Talavera de la Reina a more comfortable space for their daily shopping. Additionally, it includes 50 covered parking spaces and two electric vehicle charging stations, highlighting a focus on sustainability and electric mobility.

The construction involved cleaning and renovating the premises’ appearance to create a modern brand identity, adapting the space to new demands.

The store is located on the ground floor of an eight-story building, which includes offices and parking facilities, allowing convenient access from basement level -1.

A key feature is the addition of the Amazon Locker service, which enhances the shopping experience by allowing customers to pick up Amazon orders quickly and securely.

To promote sustainability, the stores use energy-efficient climate control and refrigeration systems that reduce CO₂ emissions and improve air quality. They also offer recycling points at the entrance and a dedicated eco-friendly area.

The opening of this new Ahorramas in Talavera de la Reina marks a significant step in the supermarket chain’s expansion strategy, strengthening its prominent position within the food retail sector. The combination of spaciousness, sustainability, and convenience reflects a clear commitment to customer satisfaction and sustainable progress.
